Meet Terry, a shining example of resilience and generosity within our community. More than ten years ago, Terry found himslef living on the streets, seeking assistance and support at St. Matthews Area Ministries (St. MAM). Here, he found refuge but also a sense of belonging and purpose. Terry’s journey with St. MAM highlights the transformative power of community and giving back. From receiving food assistance to becoming an integral member of our volunteer team, Terry’s dedication has remained steadfast.
St. Matthews Area Ministries seeks to unite the resources and people of area congregations to effectively meet community needs. Through St. MAM, area congregations collaborate and partner with government, schools, businesses, and other non-profits to meet emergency needs, to stabilize families in transitional situations, to provide a nurturing and healthy environment for children and youth, and to offer resources for the benefit of the whole community.
